Overview
Installation services are available for all Olympic lifts and shop equipment. Typical car lift installations require a minimum of two trained men approximately one workday to complete. Call us for exact installation costs for the lift you choose. Understandably, site conditions, long-distance travel time, and unforeseen circumstances may add to the cost of installation services. Most lifts will require up to five gallons of Olympic AW-32 Hydraulic Oil. Hydraulic oil is considered an accessory, so it is not included with your purchase. If you want oil included with your order, please remember to make it part of your purchase. Hydraulic oil can be made part of your delivery, but only when delivered on our company truck. Oil is HAZMAT, requiring special permits to transport by LTL freight carrier. For this reason we do not offer oil for shipment with LTL shipments. AW-32 oil is readily available locally.
Our Goal
By offering installation services, our goal is to provide our customers with the best experience, value, and service possible. Additionally, many safety concerns can be avoided when trained professionals install such heavy equipment as car lifts. While every company needs to make a profit, including us, we purposely keep installation costs as low as possible to benefit our customer
Payment
Installation fees are due upon completion of the installation service. We accept cash, check, or credit card payments. Installation costs are separate from equipment costs and will be invoiced accordingly.
Payment is required before our technicians leave your facility. If additional work or modifications are needed beyond the standard installation, these will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
Cost of Installations
Installation costs vary by lift type and complexity. Standard installation includes delivery, setup, calibration, and testing. Additional charges may apply for non-standard installations, electrical work requiring permits, or site modifications.
All installation quotes are provided in advance and include travel time within our standard service area. Extended travel or overnight accommodations may result in additional charges.
Site Evaluations
Site evaluations are available for complex installations or when site conditions are uncertain. Our technicians can assess your facility to ensure proper installation requirements are met before delivery.
Site evaluations help identify potential issues early and ensure your installation proceeds smoothly. This service is recommended for facilities with unique requirements or space constraints.

Floor Suitability & Condition
Floor condition is critical for safe lift operation. Concrete floors must be level, properly cured, and free from cracks or deterioration. We inspect all floors before installation and reserve the right to refuse installation on unsuitable surfaces.
Floor preparation, including leveling or repair, is the customer's responsibility and must be completed before our arrival. Additional charges may apply if installation is delayed due to inadequate floor preparation.
Epoxy coatings, sealers, or other floor treatments should be discussed in advance as they may affect anchor bolt installation and lift stability.
Cancelled Scheduled Installations
Installation appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged a minimum service fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.
Weather-related cancellations initiated by Olympic Equipment will be rescheduled at no additional charge. Customer-initiated weather cancellations may be subject to rescheduling fees if our crew has already departed.
OUR POLICY: We understand that circumstances change, but our installation crews travel significant distances and dedicate full days to each installation. Advance notice helps us serve all customers efficiently and keeps costs reasonable for everyone.
Electrical
Electrical requirements vary by lift model and must be in place before installation. Standard installations include connecting to existing electrical service within 25 feet of the lift location.
New electrical service, panel upgrades, or permit work must be completed by a licensed electrician before our arrival. We can provide electrical specifications and requirements for your electrician.
All electrical work must comply with local codes and be inspected if required. We cannot complete installations without proper electrical service.
SPECIAL NOTE: Three-phase electrical service may not be available in all areas. Please verify electrical service availability before ordering three-phase equipment. Single-phase alternatives are available for most applications.
