A capable forklift is required to onsite for all lift and Shop Equipment deliveries. Shipping to AK and HI are subject to $350 port fee.

Residential Deliveries

LTL freight carriers (Less Than Truck Load) will ship to residential addresses (+$150), but the area must be accessible by 40’ trucks. Liftgate services are not available for automotive lifts. Freight carriers will not allow customers to unload freight via manpower. A forklift must be onsite at the time of delivery, or additional redelivery fees will be incurred by the receiver. If you need further information about shipping or delivery, please contact the Olympic Shipping Department at 866-774-4531, extension 3.

Freight terminals

Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight can be transported for delivery to the freight terminal nearest you, on a freight-hold will-call basis for pickup on your trailer. Freight terminals will load your order at no additional cost. They are typically professional, easy to work with, and will get you loaded and on your way quickly. Appointments are required. Our shipping department will select a freight terminal near you and provide the necessary documentation and contact information. Note: For safety reasons, freight terminals will not load automobiles or pickup trucks. A flatbed trailer is required, though certain barn-door cargo trailers may be acceptable.

Will-Call Orders

Customers receive a $150 discount on lifts and shop equipment valued at more than $700 when picked up at our Arlington, WA warehouse. Appointments are required 24 hours in advance. Warehouse hours are 9:00–11:00 AM and 1:00–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The shipping department is closed for lunch from 12:00–1:00 PM daily and on weekends. Contact us for more information.

Accessory Shipments

Accessories shipped with Olympic lifts and shop equipment are free of charge. However, UPS, FedEx, USPS, or common carrier shipping costs apply to accessories and shop equipment valued at less than $700. Space and weight limitations apply.

UPS and FedEx Ground

Smaller packaged items valued at less than $700 will be charged actual shipping costs. Contact us for more information.

Delivery Time

We understand that receiving your equipment undamaged and in a timely manner is important to you. When the item you order is in stock, it will typically ship two to three days after full payment is received. If the item is not in stock, it has likely already shipped from the factory, minimizing wait times. If an item is out of stock or on backorder, your order will be shipped as soon as it is available. For tracking information, please contact the Olympic Shipping Department. Note: Ocean freight supply chain issues and port congestion may cause significant delays. Please be patient—we will ship your order as quickly as possible. Thank you.

International Shipping

Customers are solely responsible for all customs, duties, tariffs, port fees, and taxes applicable to any international order. Upon delivery, the carrier will attempt to collect the required import taxes from the purchaser. If the carrier fails to collect these taxes, Olympic Shop Equipment reserves the right to re-bill the customer’s credit card to cover the associated import customs, duties, tariffs, and taxes.

Limited Access Areas

LTL cargo carriers may apply a surcharge for what they classify as limited access locations, which is beyond our control. These areas include, but are not limited to, farms, ranches, hospitals, schools, government facilities, country clubs, storage facilities, airports, gated access locations, or any other site that does not meet the carrier’s designation of a traditional business facility. If the carrier charges Olympic Shop Equipment a limited access fee for your shipment, those charges will be billed to your credit card after delivery. Please feel free to call us before ordering to confirm whether your location may be subject to a limited access fee. Automotive hoists are too large and heavy for liftgate services. LTL carriers will not allow customers to unload heavy freight by manpower. A forklift must be on site at the time of delivery, or the receiver will be responsible for additional charges associated with a second delivery attempt.

Inspecting Your Delivery

The receiving party is responsible for inspecting shipments for damage at the time of delivery. Do not wait, and do not sign the delivery receipt before thoroughly inspecting the package for damage or missing parts. Any damage or missing parts must be noted on the bill of lading, or your claim will be denied by both the freight carrier and Olympic Equipment. Undocumented freight claims are the responsibility of the receiver, not the shipper (Olympic or dealer). Note: The raw steel shipping frames secured to package ends are not part of the machine; they are disposable. Damage to disposable shipping frames is not considered freight damage.

When Damage Occurs

Clear photos of the item, still in its original packaging, are required and must accompany all freight damage and missing parts claims. Photos of the product identification plate and the damage itself are also required before any claim will be accepted. All freight damage and missing parts claims must be submitted electronically within 24 hours of delivery as required by warranty—no exceptions. Note: You have the right to accept or refuse your shipment if damage is present. Warning: If damage is not properly notated on the bill of lading at the time of delivery, your freight claim may be considered invalid by both the freight carrier and Olympic Equipment.

Important Disclaimer

Olympic Equipment and Olympic Equipment dealers are not freight carriers. Transportation services may be arranged for you by an Olympic Equipment representative; however, as consignee, you—the customer—are responsible for resolving any undiscovered or improperly notated freight claims directly with the carrier. Olympic Equipment and its dealers cannot be held accountable for freight damages or losses not documented on the bill of lading.
