Warranty Information

At Olympic Equipment, we aim to provide the best warranty in the industry without confusing language. Our goal is for you to feel confident in a simple, reliable partnership. Please review these policies before ordering; if anything is unclear, we are happy to provide clarification.

1. The Olympic Limited Warranty

The Olympic Limited Warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship, and warranted parts. Olympic Equipment LLC promises to repair or replace defective parts during the designated warranty period.

• Labor & Field Service: This limited warranty does not include labor costs. While we offer factory-trained service and free technical support, Olympic does not pay for technicians to perform repairs in the field.
• Customer Responsibility: All costs incurred for installation, repairs, maintenance, and non-warranted parts are the sole responsibility of the customer.

2. Gold Series Warranty Coverage Periods

All warranty periods begin on the Date of Shipment:

• 10 Years: Major structural components.
• 3 Years: Electric hydraulic power units, pneumatic power units, hydraulic cylinders, cables, hoses, locks, pulleys, sheaves, and bushings.
• 1 Year: Soft or wear parts, including pads, slide blocks, rubber, nylon, neoprene, and optional accessories.

3. Warranty Exclusions & Voidance

This warranty applies only when the product is installed using professional methods and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions and industry standards. The warranty is void under the following conditions:

• Improper Use: Damage due to abuse, neglect, or overloading the device beyond its rated capacity.
• Maintenance & Installation: Failure to perform routine maintenance or damage resulting from unprofessional installation.
• Environmental & Electrical: Damage or corrosion resulting from environmental conditions, or damage caused by incorrect voltage or improper wiring.
• Cosmetic Issues: Minor transit damage that does not affect performance (e.g., scratches, dents, discoloration, or light surface rust).
• Financial Disputes: Warranty coverage is suspended or voided in cases of payment returns, fraudulent payments, unauthorized order cancellations, or chargebacks.

4. Shipping of Warranted Parts

Warranted parts are provided free of charge during the warranty period; however, all shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

• Standard Shipping: Warranted parts are typically shipped via ground transport. Because some components are sourced internationally, ocean shipping may be required, which can impact lead times.
• Expedited Shipping: Air Express shipping is available at the customer’s expense. Please note that air shipping is significantly more expensive than standard ocean or ground freight.

5. Unapproved Repairs & Third-Party Services

Olympic is not responsible for damage caused by unprofessional installation methods or third-party parts and labor.

• Written Consent Required: If you plan to use outside services, parts, or labor, you must obtain written permission from Olympic Equipment LLC before proceeding if you expect any form of reimbursement.

6. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is strictly non-transferable. It does not cover normal wear, damage from improper handling, or unauthorized modifications.
