I picked up this 7,500 Gold Series Portable Mid-Rise Scissor Lift at the warehouse. Saved on shipping and did the assembly myself, because I have a tractor at home to unload the unit with. There is nothing really to install since it is portable. True, the instructions are not all that useful for assembly, but it is pretty simple to figure out on your own. The unit is easy to wheel around on concrete surfaces to place exactly where you want. So far, I've only used it to lift a 2006 Ford Explorer that weighs approximately 5,100 lbs. It lifted it easily without the motor sounding taxed. Lifted all the way to the stops, I pushed on the vehicle in all directions testing the lifts sturdiness. The lift stayed planted with very little movement of the vehicle. I felt perfectly comfortable under the vehicle. Very excited to get A LOT more use out of this lift.
